Vio Rotar as contractor/builder/owner I would give many more than 10 stars as while we were living out of the country he kept constantly In touch with updates and or changes. When we moved in it was perfect and not one thing needed to be addressed. He is highly respected, honorable, honest and reliable. The word around town is that he is the best and his craftsmanship is exemplary. We are proud to know him and blessed that he built our home for us.

We retired and moved to Tellico Village in 2017. We had previously toured one of Vio’s model homes in the Tellico “Parade of Homes” in the fall of 2015. We really liked the European style and workmanship in his homes so we hired Elegant Construction to build our dream retirement home. We bought our own house plan on-line but it coincidentally was similar to the spec and custom houses that Vio had previously built. Our house ended up being pretty much a custom home as we picked out most of the interior and exterior finishes ourselves. Vio and his team did a tremendous job on the construction of our house and we are very happy with the final product. His “attention to detail” in Elegant Construction homes, which was not provided by many other “volume” builders’ homes in Tellico Village, far exceeded our expectations. We also appreciated his continuous follow up both during and after our house build. Quality builder – very happy with the outcome!

Before starting construction on our house, we needed to sell our house in Knoxville. Vio, Elena and Anastasya walked through our house and came up with a plan to update and stage it. Not surprisingly, within a few weeks it sold at full asking price! Our building experience was nothing short of fantastic! We were treated like family during the entire process. Vio’s crew and Elegant Home employees worked like trojans to ensure that every detail was well thought out and nothing was done halfway. Every time we came by to check on progress, we were thrilled with the meticulous efforts being made to maximize usage of every square inch of our small house. While we have never been great at coordinating colors and making final selections such as cabinets, backsplash, flooring, etc. we were never at a loss because Anastasya and Vio were there to guide us through it all! We will admit, there were times when we went along with colors and selections because we knew they were extremely particular about all of their houses. BUT we were never disappointed, to the contrary, now that we are living in the house, we are so pleased with the overall appearance, functionality, quality, and detail of our house! Speaking of challenges, our lot was a huge challenge due to the slope and a rock shelf that interfered with the foundation work. Tony and crew worked long days! Thanks to Tony and crew for all of their efforts in construction of the home, making sure that we were completely satisfied with everything! We have been so blessed; it is difficult to express. We are grateful!

We started looking for a new home in Tellico Village in early 2023. Although we looked at several new houses, we kept returning to the one built by Vio and Elegant Homes. So many of the builders in Tellico have a few home plans they use for construction and we did not want a house that looked like all the others in the neighborhood. That is not what we got! Vio worked with us and our agent on our purchase and we couldn’t be happier with our new home! The quality of workmanship and attention to detail in the house we purchased is outstanding. The wide crown molding, trey ceilings, plank flooring, tile work and marble floors are absolutely beautiful. We also have high end appliances in the kitchen with Bluetooth features. Vio also did rounded corners on doorways, which we love. Our floor plan is absolutely perfect. As with any new home we had a couple of things we wanted done and Vio worked with us quickly to get things resolved. In fact, he went above and beyond expectations! He is very responsive and professional and we have been very happy with our choice. We have also had contact with other members of his team and they have all been very efficient and professional. Thank you Vio, Tony and Elegant Homes! We couldn’t be more pleased with our new home in Tellico Village.

From the very start of the process Vio managed to keep myself and my wife calm under the extreme conditions that he was building in.
